The plot in act 1 scene 1

baptisia has daughter,  Bianca, Katherina. Katherina has to find a suitor and marry before Bianca. But Bianca has already got a man, Hortetensio. lucentio and Tranio want to continue in the education. Lucentio wants to marry Bianca but she is not interested in him so they swap clothes, him and Tranio. He now looking like Tranio the tutor for Bianca, this is why they swap. If he is her tutor her can spend time with her and get closed to her.

After reading page 11, lines 101-124 i now know a lots more about how men in those times think of women, the way 'The Lord' says "know her love", he is saying she has to love him even if she doesn't want to, she must. In those days the women do what the men tells them to, this involves them loving him no matter how they are treated.
 And also "commanded" this links with what i said in the paragraph above the women do what they are told to do, in this case commanded tears. When he says she must cry when told to.
They are protaited as noble, dutiful people. "Noble ladies" they are there for there husbands when ever they need them, the drop what they are doing and there for the husbands.

In the clips we have just been shown, women have been portrayed in a very sexest way, the viewer's have been told that women can’t drive, can make a valid and worthy  input into conversations, they also have been shown as they can’t learn as fast men, they also are shown as a pain in the work place, needing to leave for marriageable reasons.

These are all wrong in my opinion, if women can’t drive then how come our insurance is cheaper than men’s, because men statistically have more crashes than women. Others may think that women can't drive but this is obviously wrong.


Women can have worthy inputs in discussions, there and many discussions at university and school etc that involve women. We have good inputs just like men, sometimes better, you cant decide whether we will have good inputs just by our gender, if you were to determine things by someones gender then i would presume that men are violent people who smoke drink, and others things a lot, but i know that this is not necessarily true.


Women learn faster than men, there has been lots of research to do with this, and the results show that when young up to about late teens, girls learn faster than boys. yes in the video the women is an adult but girls do learn fast. Many people know that boys use the right side of their brain measuring things, understanding directions and working with objects, where as the girl use the left hand side more, reading, speaking and writing. boys are also more likely to be kinesthetic learner than. im not saying girls cant do things the boys can and visversa, what im saying is we learn different, this doesn't meand girls are not a smart as boys either.


Women now a day don’t leave for marriageable reason and even if they do that is their own choice to and has nothing to do with the entire group of girls are worse at working, people can and do leave work for many reasons, it not fair to women, or anyone for the matter, to not won't them to work for just because they might leave one day, its their chose.
