I think she is more likely to be talking about carrying a child rather than carrying just for example an object.

They both work, this makes it a good insult as it is two insults in one. One insults his manly hood, the other insults him in genural.

Or also could be be saying he will not make her pregnant. The way the word burden means pregant, shows that in these times it was a burden and a effort to me pregnant.
Light- 'Too light for such a swain as you to catch' She is saying that she is either to slim or promiscuous for a 'country bumpkin or lover' to catch me. Personally i think she is saying she is promiscuous for him, whether or not she promiscous, she wants him to think she is. Maybe she thinks that if she tells him that he wont want to be with her.
